A wash removes loose dirt. Decontamination removes the bonded contaminants — iron fallout, tree sap, and embedded grime — that make paint feel rough and slowly dull the finish. If your paint feels gritty even after a wash, the Luxury Exterior tier is where that gets addressed.

Do you come to my home or office?+
Yes. KlenCars is fully mobile — we bring our own water, power, and equipment to your driveway or workplace in Austin and the surrounding areas. You don't need to provide water or electricity.
How long does a detail take?+
It depends on the service and the condition of the vehicle. An interior refresh may take a couple of hours; a full detail or ceramic coating can take most of a day. We confirm the expected time before your appointment.
Do I need to be there the whole time?+
No. Once we're set up and have access to the vehicle, you can go about your day. We only need to reach you to confirm the scope and hand the keys back.
What if the weather is bad?+
We monitor the forecast and will reach out to reschedule if heavy rain or storms would affect the quality of the work. Light cover or a garage helps, but isn't required for most services.
Which service should I choose?+
If you want both inside and out, start with a Full Detail. If your paint looks dull or feels rough, Exterior or a Ceramic Coating may be right. You can also send your details through the quote form and we'll recommend the best fit.
What's the difference between exterior detailing and paint correction?+
Exterior detailing is cleaning and protection — a safe wash, decontamination, and gloss. Paint correction is machine polishing that actually levels the clear coat to reduce swirl marks and scratches. Correction is included in our ceramic coating packages, not as a standalone exterior service.
